This video suggests a good idea. The police needs to be retrained to avoid police abuse and the excessive use of force. Some may not believe in the program, but then I think this is a good step as any. It’s always better than nothing. Any step toward stopping the violence should be good.
In this video, a guy beats up a woman, the bartender. The bad thing is that the guy is a cop. It’s not strictly police abuse since the cop was off-duty (presumably). But then, if these are the kind of guys who are in the police force, it calls for alarm.
This situation is so alarming. First, the cop asked the woman to sign a blank report sheet. Second, the cop went mad when asked for his badge number. Third, the cop used excessive force in arresting the woman. By the way, all of those charges were dropped in the end.
In this video, you have a man who is cooperating but is forced down on the ground by a police officer. And from the video, it’s not clear what the offense is. We can’t say for sure what happened, but it does look fishy, a possible police abuse. But the police did identify themselves, so it’s not that bad, we hope.
This video claims that the police were being abusive in dispersing the protest. This can go both ways: police abuse was present and that there’s a better way of dispersing the crowd. The other is that the protesters were just stubborn and won’t follow orders. We’ll let you decide which is which.
You would think that there would be courtesy between people in the same line of work. But it was not present here. According to the description, the man being apprehended is a police detective, and he didn’t get a break. Police abuse on cops? Well, a dose of their own medicine.
Well, you have to think about this video a bit. You can protest, but when you’re asked by the cops to move, you should move. Excessive force? Asking for it? It will be hard to tell for each side will tell a different story. A confusing world to live in, I know!
Talk about in your face. This video shows police abuse when the officers punched and kicked a suspect already in cuffs. That is really uncalled for. Whether the guy resisted arrest or not, the goal was to restrain, not maim the guy. This is police brutality showed in this video.
Not only was there little grounds for arrest, the police had to aggravate the situation by beating the guy when he is already in his cell. There is no reason for this behavior. It’s just police abuse of authority. The cell is a holding place for suspects, not an area where you can just go berserk on anyone who rubs you the wrong way.
Talk about taking advantage of people who can’t stand for themselves. You have people who are cuffed and in wheelchairs, but the cops on the video can’t seem to help it but inflict some police abuse. That situation is hard to comprehend, much less defend or rationalize. Something is really wrong with the police force nowadays.
