I love how seriously the cop guarding the other cops who are beating the protester on the ground takes himself. Good on you buddy, arrest some more hippys and beat them to a bloody pulp, nice work! /sarcasm

It is not a crime to film a police arrest, so long as you are not interfering with the arrest….

If you’re a cop here’s some advice, prepare yourself before you beat a drunk in a cell. Next step is to attempt to erase the evidence, nothing says innocent like trying to cover your tracks.

This is a case that can go both ways. Here, the riot police is marching toward their post in the G20 summit. Then, you have a couple right where the troops are marching. The arrest may be overboard, but then you have to know what’s coming when you put yourself in the middle of the “warpath” so to speak.

Here, we see the newest toy against riots and the masses. It’s quite effective, by the way. Unless you have earplugs on, you would be scampering away from LRAD, which stands for Long Range Acoustic Device. This is pretty mean, but as to whether or not this is counted as police violence is debatable.

This was a protest done by the people regarding the outcome of the recent Iranian elections. Seeing the police violence in this video somehow makes you feel better you don’t live in that area. At least, this is true for most people who have not yet experienced police abuse locally.

This is a more “balanced” video where you see cops giving out the beating on some, then also receiving the beatings on other incidients. This could be one of the reasons cops are always tense and quick to jump the gun. But then again, that doesn’t make excessive police violence right in any way.

When they say somebody above is watching, this takes on a different meaning. A video of a cop beating a suspect is taken from a passing plane. Some sins end up not being seen, but for this case of police violence, not only is it seen, it’s also recorded on video.

As if adding insult to injury, the video shows police laughing about an incident where a woman was shot in the leg and head with a rubber bullet. It’s inappropriate and unprofessional. Of course, there’s the idea that the woman should have gotten out of the police’s path, but being stubborn has its price.

This is just a short video on a police officer apprehending an old lady, then kneeing her in the body when she was trying to reach for something from the officer’s belt. Of course, it may just be a knee-jerk reaction by the officer, but then that kind of police violence on an old lady would be hard to defend.
